TRAVELLING BY CAR

From Scotland the best way to Europe is Ferry: Rosyth to Zeebrugge. From North of England it’s still best to ferry to Zeebrugge, and further South in England it’s probably easier to ferry from Dover.

From Belgium the journey heads over Germany, Austria, Hungary and into Romania to Brebu Nou, a total of 24 hrs driving.

We can also supply a detailed route to make the driving easy, across motorway, almost all the way to Romania. With two or three people driving it makes the journey easy.

With Hungary in the EU, there are no borders until Romania and no Visa’s required, the border crossing into Romania is friendly and quick.

The fuel across Europe is much cheaper than G.B., and even cheaper in Romania.

Romanian currency is "LEI", with lots of exchange offices.

The journey from the Romanian border to Brebu Nou is approx. 3 ½ hrs across rolling countryside and up into the mountains.
